To celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Montbell in 2005, the very first European store was opened in Switzerland at the foot of the Eiger.

Located in the scenic town of Grindelwald, a peaceful resort town surrounded by the mountains of Swiss Alps, Montbell serves a wide variety of our latest products, technical outdoor clothing, down jackets, travel wear and accessories, backpacks, sleeping bags, and more. The store also exhibits the historical artifacts from Tatsuno’s climb of the Eiger and also the door from the original Mittellegi Hut from the Eiger’s East Ridge.
