Themed trails

In and around Wengen there are specially themed hiking trails and walks to enjoy.

Zwei Wanderer geniessen den Ausblick auf dem Männlichen auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau.

Jungfrau Eiger Walk

This 2 1/2 kilometre route from the Eigergletscher station to Kleine Scheidegg (which you can also walk the other way) is thematically devoted to the triumphs and tragedies that have occurred on the north face of the Eiger. The stark mountain face is in view the whole way. Wooden steles placed along the way guide you through the various stations on a journey through the eventful history of the Eiger north face.

Royal Walk

The Royal Walk takes you from the Männlichen mountain station up to its summit with crown-shaped viewing platform. While traversing 120 metres of altitude on the Walk, you can learn quite a few facts interesting to both young and old.

Lieselotte Trail

On the Männlichen you will get to know the famous cow Lieselotte, who is on her first visit up in the mountains. Walking the Lieselotte Trail, you get to find out about everything she encounters. In the middle of the Sennenspielplatz play area, there is an 8.5-metre cow. Children’s eyes light up when they see what’s inside.

Öpfelchüechli Trail

Go along with fruit farmer Hene on his interesting hike from Holenstein to Brandegg. Along the way you will learn lots of interesting facts about apples while playfully testing your agility.
