The Panorama Trail: Männlichen-Kleine Scheidegg

A true classic: Starting from the Männlichen mountain at 2,230 metres above sea level, this unmatched high Alpine trail to the Kleine Scheidegg via Honegg and Rotstöckli down to 2,061 metres above sea level. After doing this hike, you’ll understand why the route is called the Panorama Trail.

Wengernalp-Biglenalp-Kleine Scheidegg

Starting at the Wengernalp stop, this broad hiking trail leads across meadows and through forest to Biglenalp, with a view of the triple peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau the whole way. There the path turns toward Kleine Scheidegg.

Wengen-Wengwald-Lauterbrunnen

Starting in the village of Wengen, the route leads past the Reformed Church to the Wengen’s best lookout point, down to the Wengwald stop. The trail then continues onward in descent the rest of the way, with a nearly 500-metre change in altitude on the way down to Lauterbrunnen.

The famous/infamous Lauberhorn downhill run route is great to hike. The route leads to Burglauenen via Leiterhorn and Spätenalp and on to the Hunneflue lookout and the Staubbachbänkli scenic view point. These are just some of the many hikes to enjoy in and around Wengen.
