From the viewpoint on the lower Dorfstrasse (location) you can take holiday photos that will surely make it into the album. Behind every corner you will discover a new photo subject in this village. Be it a blooming garden or an artfully decorated house wall with a snow-covered roof.
If you would like to relax a little, let yourself be pampered by the hosts of the village on one of the sun terraces. You will not be able to miss the impressive panorama.
Most restaurants offer traditional Swiss cuisine. Something Italian can also be found everywhere. The Hotel Jungfrau offers Malaysian specialities and in Thams Snack there are other Asian dishes on the menu. The haute cuisine can be found at the Hotel Eiger, although in autumn you should certainly enjoy the game dish at the Bellevue.
If you would like coffee, cake and vegan snacks, Café Liv is the place to be.
The shops offer everything from new trekking shoes to traditional snow globes, jewellery and locally produced textiles. Special souvenirs of Mürren can be found in the "Exile on Mainstreet", the shop runs the brand Piz Gloria, which embodies the region.
Local specialities such as mountain cheese, sausage and honey are of course not missing. These can also be bought comfortably at any time from the farm vending machine.
