Lake Bachalp
Lake Bachalpsee is one of the most beautiful natural highlights around Grindelwald. Located at 2,265 metres above sea level, this idyllic mountain lake impresses with its peaceful atmosphere and spectacular setting in the Bernese Alps. On calm days, the Schreckhorn is reflected in the clear water – a view that makes Bachalpsee a popular photo spot.

From First, Bachalpsee can be reached on foot in less than an hour. The easy, family-friendly hiking trail leads through beautiful mountain scenery and makes the walk to the lake an experience in itself.
