A tribute to the old - a lesson for the young: in the Valley and Legends Museum you can see what a hotel room looked like in 1900, which skis were used for the first Lauberhorn races or what life was like for the mountain farmers in the Lauterbrunnen Valley.Since 2019, the Valley Museum has become the Valley and Legend Museum. The mighty nature of the Lauterbrunnen valley has always made a strong impression on its inhabitants. Alemannic settlers with their Nordic-influenced mythology and immigrants from the Lötschental, with their Walser culture, have contributed to the development of a multi-layered folk belief in our valley.Opening hours:The Valley and Legend Museum will be closed throughout the summer of 2021 and is expected to reopen in June 2022.Various storytelling evenings will take place in the museum in autumn 2021. Information about the storytelling evenings can be found on the website of the Valley and Legend Museum.
