Isenfluh and Sulwald
Isenfluh - Amazing views far from the main tourist attractions.
The small, unspoilt mountain village is beautifully situated above Lauterbrunnen and far from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions. From here the panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is enchanting.
From the sunny Isenfluh mountain village an almost nostalgic red cable car brings guests up to the Sulwald hamlet. In cabins that carry eight persons or one cow!
Views from here extend over the valley of Grindelwald to the Schynige Platte and depths of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, not omitting the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau trio in the Bernese Alps. Those who wish to get a closer view of alpine landscapes climb to the little Sulseeli lake and continue on to the SAC Lobhorn hut, followed by a hike to the 2413 meter-high Sulegg.
Monster-scooters, purest nature, sayings and place of power are further features that attract people here.
