A la carte in the middle of the mountains

The Alpenruh Restaurant is one of the cosiest places in Mürren. Not only in summer, but also in winter guests like to snuggle up in the soft blankets on the sun terrace. When the sun has set and its sunset fades on the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, it is better to stay in the restaurant.
Here traditional Swiss dishes ranging from rösti and barley soup to bratwurst are served. The à la carte restaurant also offers elaborate desserts and simple lunch menus, which the Schilthorn Cableway staff in particular are happy to enjoy.
The restaurant is located right in front of the Schilthorn cable car station and offers an ideal place to stop off during a day of hiking or skiing.
