"First View" vantage platform
Standing on First View, one thing becomes immediately clear: the views from up here are truly spectacular. The viewing platform is located above the First mountain station and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Bernese Alps.
A short walk leads from the mountain station to the striking metal structure shaped like a wind turbine. Its seven differently positioned “rotor blades” each reveal a new perspective of the surrounding mountains – from the highest peaks of the Bernese Oberland and the world-famous north face of the Eiger to the ski and hiking mountains around Grindelwald.
Various seating areas invite you to sit back and enjoy the scenery. If you are looking for a little more excitement afterwards, the First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot, the First Flyer and the First Glider are all close by.
